Other Areas of Practice

Boehm & Wright, PLLC understands the many personal and legal difficulties caused by uncontrollable debt. Often such situations arise because of the financial trauma of a divorce or separation. If you are faced with debts that you cannot afford to pay or if you are being threatened with serious consequences like foreclosure, litigation, or wage assignment, you owe it to yourself and your dependents to learn more about the possible options filing for bankruptcy affords you.

At Boehm & Wright, PLLC, we carefully review your entire financial situation and consider all your options. Bankruptcy may not be a good option for you. In fact, it may be a bad choice under certain circumstances. We advise you of this because it is our responsibility to review your particular circumstances and give you advice on the best option for you.

Personal Injury
Sometimes a person is hurt through no fault of their own. Many injuries could and should have been prevented. If someone other than yourself caused or contributed to your injury, you may be entitled to compensation for the effects that the injury has caused on your life. These effects may be lost wages, reimbursement for medical expenses, estimated future expenses for care and rehabilitation, and interruptions of your regular day to day life. The most important advice is for you to speak with an attorney soon after your injury. We may need to act quickly to preserve important evidence.

We only represent existing clients in personal injury matters. We know them and their history. We do not advertise our services in this regard as we do not believe law firms who follow your ambulance to the hospital room have your best interests at heart when it comes to such matters.

Criminal Law
Even “good” people find themselves in a situation that they did not plan on, and find themselves arrested and charged with a variety of criminal charges such as DWI, assault, or trespass to name a few. Whether the offense is charged as a violation, a misdemeanor, or a felony, the lawyers of Boehm and Wright, PLLC can represent you and protect your interests from the time of arrest through trial. The most important advice is to remain calm and quiet. Do not offer your side of the story to an investigative police officer. Most convictions arise because an individual voluntarily offers statements that are then used against them. Even if you are innocent, you should not freely speak to the police or consent to a search. Do not talk to anyone about the situation until you speak with an attorney. If arrested, assert your right to have an attorney present.
